Bike Sourcing & Purchase Consulting

Find the Right Bike Without the Guesswork

Looking for a new mountain bike, e-bike, gravel bike, or road bike? I can help you find the right one based on how you ride, your goals, your budget, and what matters most to you.

With years of experience working in bike shops and riding throughout Park City and beyond, I can help narrow down the options, compare models and components, and identify bikes that actually fit your needs—not just what’s popular or on sale.

Whether you’re buying your first mountain bike, upgrading your current setup, or searching for a specific build, I’ll help you navigate the process with more confidence.

How it works:

  • Define your needs: We’ll discuss your riding style, experience, budget, fit, and priorities.
  • Find the options: I’ll research suitable bikes and help identify promising new or used options.
  • Make an informed decision: I’ll help you compare options and understand the trade-offs before you buy.

Rather than spending hours sorting through listings and spec sheets, get experienced guidance tailored to you.

Service fee: Pricing depends on the scope of the search and level of assistance needed. Contact me to discuss your needs and receive a quote.

Suspension Setup & Trail-Side Tuning

Get Your Suspension Working for You

Suspension setup can make or break how a bike feels on the trail. If your bike feels harsh, dives under braking, bounces through rough terrain, or never seems to find the right balance, a basic pressure adjustment may not be enough.

I offer in-depth suspension setup sessions that go beyond the workshop. We’ll start by evaluating your bike, suspension components, riding style, and current settings, then head out on the trail to see how the bike performs in real conditions.

From there, we’ll make adjustments, ride, and fine-tune the setup based on what you’re feeling and what the bike is doing.

What we can work on:

  • Sag and spring pressure
  • Rebound and compression damping
  • Fork and shock balance
  • Support through corners and compressions
  • Traction and small-bump sensitivity
  • Bottom-out resistance and big-hit performance
  • Suspension settings for your local trails and riding style

A Setup Built Around You

Every rider is different. Your weight, speed, terrain, riding style, and preferences all affect how your suspension should feel. The goal isn’t to copy someone else’s settings—it’s to find a setup that gives you the right balance of comfort, traction, support, and control.

This service is ideal for riders who have struggled to dial in their suspension, upgraded their bike, or simply want to understand how to get more performance out of their current setup.

Please note: This service focuses on setup and adjustment, not internal suspension overhauls or damper repairs. Any mechanical issues identified during the session can be discussed separately.

Why I Started Mountainside Mobile

After years working in ski and bike service shops, I noticed a pattern: long wait times, inconsistent service, and a lack of personal attention. Customers often had to leave their equipment for days or weeks without knowing exactly who would be working on them.

I started Mountainside Mobile to offer something different—a service experience built around the customer. By bringing a fully equipped workshop directly to you, I can provide professional, detail-oriented service while respecting your time and keeping you riding.

My Approach

Every appointment starts with a conversation.

I take the time to understand how you ride, what your goals are, and what your bike, skis, or snowboard actually needs. Rather than rushing through repairs, I focus on thoughtful recommendations, clear communication, and workmanship that gives you confidence every time you head out for a ride.

If something isn’t right, I want to know. My goal isn’t simply to complete a repair—it’s to be your trusted service provider for years to come.

Proud to Serve the Park City Community

Since launching Mountainside Mobile in 2025, I’ve had the opportunity to work with local riders, visitors, hotels, and community organizations throughout Park City.

I’m proud to partner with local businesses, support community events, maintain rental fleets, and help keep riders of all experience levels enjoying everything the Wasatch has to offer.

When I’m Not Working

When I’m not turning wrenches, you’ll usually find me riding or skiing somewhere in the Wasatch with my wife, Sheila. We moved to Park City because we love being in the mountains, and helping others enjoy them is one of the best parts of what I do.
